Prayer Group​

Tuesday mornings

The St. Matthew’s Prayer Group has met for more than 60 years, every Tuesday morning to pray for the needs of our church and community. Prayers include those named in the Prayers of the People each Sunday as well as names sent to us. Names are read and prayed for in a thoughtful manner.

Youth Group

St. Matthew’s youth are invited to join a thriving Youth Group at The Church of the Holy Comforter with Youth Minister Ian Grant-Funck. Meeting Sunday evenings over dinner, the group (grades 5–12) blends fellowship, prayer, games, study, and fun. Last year’s program averaged 15 students weekly—big enough to be lively, small enough for every voice to matter. Ian, discerning a call to the priesthood, brings energy, care, and a love for helping young people grow in faith. Friends are always welcome!
