The Christmas Child project is coming! What better way to get into the spirit of giving than to shop for a child whose eyes will light up with joy on Christmas morning! We are once again partnering with The Cradle to provide holiday gifts for families in their Birthparent Services Program, many of whom are living at or near the poverty level.
We will have names and wish lists available for 35 children of various ages at church on Sundays, beginning November 20th. Please shop for one warm outfit (or coat and/or boots if they are on the list) for each child in addition to toys/gifts. Sizes are almost always provided. If you prefer not to shop, monetary donations and gift cards (particularly to Walmart) are much appreciated, as there are always families who contact them late in the holiday season. Checks can be made out to St. Matthew’s (with “The Cradle” in the memo).
Please return unwrapped gifts to St. Matthew’s on or before Sunday December 3th, in a bag marked with the child’s name and number. If possible, please include giftwrap.
If you have any questions, please contact Kati Olsen or Susan Rundle. LOGIN to REALM for contact information.
Thank you in advance for your caring generosity.
